DR. CHEOK JIA RHONG

Dr. Cheok Jia Rhong is a Malaysian aesthetic physician with over a decade of experience in minimally invasive facial rejuvenation, aesthetic injectables and physician education. He is recognised for his anatomy-driven approach to facial assessment and injectable treatments, integrating scientific evidence with practical clinical decision-making to achieve safe, natural and reproducible aesthetic outcomes.

As an international trainer in aesthetic medicine, Dr. Cheok has conducted hands-on educational programmes for more than 300 physicians across Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific region. His educational activities include live injection demonstrations, physician workshops, cadaver anatomy discussions and structured training programmes focusing on facial injectables, facial ageing, biostimulators and evidence-based treatment planning.

His clinical philosophy is centred on selecting the right treatment for the right patient rather than relying on a single product or technique. Through systematic facial assessment, sound anatomical knowledge and individualised treatment planning, he advocates a balanced approach that prioritises patient safety, long-term outcomes and natural-looking results.

Throughout his career, Dr. Cheok has served as a Regional Trainer, Faculty Trainer and Key Opinion Leader for several internationally recognised aesthetic companies, providing physician education on hyaluronic acid fillers, calcium hydroxyapatite, collagen biostimulators, thread lifting and facial rejuvenation techniques throughout the region.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Cheok is passionate about simplifying complex anatomical concepts into practical treatment frameworks that physicians can confidently apply in daily practice. His current academic interests include facial ageing, injectable anatomy, lip rejuvenation, combination therapies, complication prevention and physician training methodology.

Dr. Cheok graduated from the International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia, where he received multiple Dean's List awards for academic excellence. He subsequently pursued advanced training in aesthetic medicine and anti-ageing medicine under internationally recognised experts from Korea, Switzerland, Germany, Taiwan and the United States, integrating diverse treatment philosophies into a structured, evidence-based clinical approach.

In addition to aesthetic medicine, Dr. Cheok has extensive experience in procedural sedation, regional anaesthesia and peri-procedural patient safety through his training in the Department of Anaesthesiology at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. This background has contributed to his meticulous approach to patient comfort, procedural safety and risk management during minimally invasive treatments.
